Workington have signed 18-year-old forward Michael McLellan on a one-month loan deal from Preston North End.
The deal for the Northern Ireland under-21 international came shortly after the news that fellow striker Jonny Wright would be ruled out for around 5 weeks after picking up an ankle injury during the Reds’ defeat at Boston in last week’s FA Trophy tie.
